Making a helicopter toy from a plastic bottle is a fun and easy DIY project. Here are the steps you can follow:

Materials:

  • Plastic bottle
  • Scissors
  • Craft knife
  • Glue
  • Ruler
  • Marker
  • Paper
  • Small wooden sticks
  • Tape
  • String

Instructions:

  1. Cut off the bottom of the plastic bottle using scissors.
  2. Cut four blades from the paper, each about 6 inches long and 2 inches wide.
  3. Attach two blades together using glue to make two pairs of blades.
  4. Using a craft knife, make a small hole in the center of each pair of blades.
  5. Cut two small notches on opposite sides of the bottle's top rim.
  6. Insert the pairs of blades through the notches and the center hole, forming an X shape.
  7. Use a small wooden stick and tape to secure the blades in place.
  8. Cut a small piece of string, tie it to the center of the wooden stick, and let it hang down below the blades.
  9. Cut another small piece of string, tie it to the bottom of the bottle, and then tie it to the string hanging from the wooden stick.
  10. Gently spin the helicopter toy and let it fly.

Note: Make sure that the blades are balanced and that the strings are not too long, or the toy may not fly properly. You can adjust the length of the strings and the position of the blades to achieve better balance and stability
